Goodbye Range Anxiety. Hello ChargeBot!

By Johan Schwind - Head of Engineering at Sust

ChargeBot is designed as a mobile power solution. Its 5 kWh battery will enable you to charge equipment batteries on the move, meaning you and your crews will get through a busy day without the fear of running out of power or the cost and hassle of bringing lots of spare batteries.

But what exactly are 5 kilowatt-hours? Our team breaks it down below.

ChargeBot comes with a high-capacity 5 kWh battery.

15 High-Power Trimmer Charges

Greenworks Commercial’s top-of-the line trimmer takes a 82V, 4.0 Ah battery. A full charge is 328 Wh, meaning ChargeBot can replenish 15 of those string trimmer batteries on the go. With a manufacturer runtime of 55 minutes per charge, you can run your trimmer for a total of 13 hours and 45 minutes on a single battery using ChargeBot.

14 Walk-Behind Mower Charges

Toro’s 60V Max 22” Mower takes 60V, 6.0 Ah battery that holds 360 Wh which will recharge 14 times on a single ChargeBot charge.

4+ Commercial Leaf Blower Charges

Husqvarna’s flagship electric leaf blower equipped with their BLi950X 36V, 31.1 Ah battery delivers outstanding runtime. Even for this massive backpack battery, ChargeBot delivers multiple charges in the field, extending the useful runtime of a single battery up to a full 8 hour day.

ChargeBot will deliver reliable mobile power for even the most demanding commercial tools. But that doesn’t just bring convenience to your field operations. It also helps you save money. With ChargeBot, you and your crews can significantly reduce the amount of spare batteries you need to bring with you. Running a string trimmer for 6 hours every day might require you to bring as many as 6 batteries in the field. With ChargeBot you can work with as few as one (or two if you like continuous operation where one battery charges while the other is in use). The difference in cost? A total of $1,319.96, when using 2 instead of 6 Greenworks batteries for your trimmer.
